Every January for the past decade, I have embraced the opportunity to connect with my community through various challenges, creating a sense of momentum to kick off the New Year. However, the past year, 2025, presented numerous challenges that weighed heavily on my mind and spirit.
In light of everything that unfolded, I've realized that I needed some time to reset my body and mind, reflecting on the changes and chaos that shaped my experience.
It's important to honour these moments of pause, allowing ourselves the space to recharge and regain focus.
As we move into this New Year, 2026 the year of the Fire Horse, I’m considering how to approach our time together in a way that fosters connection and growth while ensuring it aligns with our collective well-being.
The one thing I come back to is when I exercise, whether it's lifting weights or doing some type of mobility, my body and my mind are reset for the day! My daily performance is better because I have moved. So it hit me, I want to offer this to you, so you can perform better in your life too!
